• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance and Services Committee recommends the Regional Board endorses the Moving Forward to 2025, Economic Development Strategy.

BC Ambulance Service

Neil Lilley, Senior Provincial Executive Director Patient Care, Communications and Planning and Blaine Wiggins, Manager, First Responder Program & Indigenous Health Strategy and Transformation, BC Emergency Health Services

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance and Services Committee receives, for information, the presentation by BC Emergency Health Services.

Regional Growth Strategy Monitoring Program Update

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the presentation on the Regional Growth Strategy Monitoring Program be received for information;

  AND THAT the Governance and Services Committee recommends that the Regional Board endorse the Regional Growth Strategy Monitoring Program.

Agricultural Compliance and Enforcement Strategy Update

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance & Services Committee receive the presentation from the Director of Community Services, dated October 10, 2019, regarding the Regional Agricultural Compliance and Enforcement Strategy for information.

7.1

Curbside Update October 2019

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance and Services Committee receives for information the report from the Director of Communication & Information Services dated October 3, 2019 regarding the 2019 curbside waste collection contract.

7.2

Industrial Commercial and Institutional Recycling

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance and Services Committee receive for information, the report from the Director of Communication & Information Services dated October 2, 2019 regarding the Letter to Minister Heyman requesting the ICI Sector be included in BC’s Recycling Regulation.

7.3

Clean Plastics Action Plan

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT the Governance and Services Committee receive for information the formal feedback submission to the Province as part of the Clean BC Plastics Action Plan consultation.

7.4

Development Cost Charge Review Update

• Recommended Motion:

  THAT Governance & Services Committee receives, for information, the Development Cost Charge Bylaw update.
