CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Wooldridge to call the meeting to order.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The RDCO acknowledges our presence on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded tm̓xʷúlaʔxʷ (land) of the syilx / Okanagan people who have resided here since time immemorial. We recognize, honour, and respect the syilx / Okanagan lands upon which we live, work, and play.

5.1

Appointment of Bylaw Enforcement Officers

To appoint staff to enforce provisions of bylaws outlined in Schedule 1 of the RDCO Ticket Information and Utilization Bylaw No. 435.

6.1

Joe Rich Fire Protection Service Area Amendment

To consider amending the Regional District of Central Okanagan Joe Rich Fire Protection Service Area Establishment Bylaw No. 404, 1989 to include 6490 Goudie Road.

6.2

Ellison Fire Protection Service Area Amendment

To consider amending the Regional District of Central Okanagan Ellison Fire Protection Service Area Establishment Bylaw No. 418, 1990 to include 7005 Old Vernon Road and remove 4150 Old Vernon Old.

CORPORATE SERVICES

7.1

Bylaw for Adoption - Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 871-275 (Z22-03) - 775 Wood Road (PH 2022-08-22)

To adopt Bylaw No. 871-275 to rezone the subject property from R1 Single Detached Housing to R1s Single Detached Housing (Secondary Suite). 

Custom Vote - Electoral Area West Unfringed Area - Electoral Area Directors Only - 1 Director, 1 Vote

Amendment to Board Remuneration Bylaw No. 1421 & Board Expense Policy 7.15

To consider readings and adoption of the amending bylaw to the Board Remuneration Bylaw and related amendments to the Board Expense Policy as discussed by the Regional Board at the July 14, 2022 meeting.

9.1

OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1274-12 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 871-274- 944 Bear Creek Road

Custom Vote – Electoral Area West & West Kelowna Fringe Area – Electoral Area Directors, West Kelowna - 1 Director, 1 Vote

To consider a Public Hearing for OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1274-12 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 871-274 for 944 Bear Creek Road to amend the Rural Westside Official Community plan and rezone a portion of the subject property from Rural 1 (RU1) to Rural 2 (RU2) for the purpose of future subdivision.
